Genshin Impact Version 7.2 Launches November 4

HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version 7.2, Hour of Ruin, will launch on November 4, 2026.

The latest Archon Quest centers on the Nails of Retribution, whose increasingly unstable energy triggers the Holy Soil phenomenon across Teyvat. The Tsaritsa summons representatives from all seven nations to Snezhnaya, bringing together the Archons, Neuvillette, and other allies. Players who complete the quest during the designated period can earn 560 Primogems and character ascension materials for Mitya.

Exploration expands into eastern Snezhnaya, including the underground city of Novokitezhgrad and Wingspan Peak, home to the historic Old Kitezhgrad. Players will investigate contaminated Kresnik Kristall deposits, use new equipment to handle environmental hazards, and face additional enemies and quests.

Two Electro characters will also join the roster. Mitya is a five-star Catalyst user who converts Superconduct reactions into Stellar-Conduct reactions and can alternate between supporting teammates and dealing damage directly. Valeriy is a four-star Sword user who provides shields and increases Electro damage, particularly for teams using Stellar-Conduct.

Mitya and Valeriy will appear during the first phase of Event Wishes alongside a Furina rerun. The second phase will feature returning characters Zibai and Linnea, while a new Chronicled Wish will focus on select Natlan characters.

Version 7.2 will also introduce a limited-time event involving allies from across Teyvat. Completing its objectives will award Primogems, upgrade materials, and the opportunity to invite a four-star character of the player’s choice. Additional activities include a filming event in Snezhnaya, a mining challenge in Natlan, and new customization options for Miliastra Wonderland.

Genshin Impact is available on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile devices.
